YOUR BUSINESS. NOT EVERYBODY’S BUSINESS.
We need some info to make the run. That doesn't mean everybody needs it.
Last Updated: September 10, 2026
When you use Smugglr Co. (“Smugglr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you trust us with certain information. This policy breaks down what we collect, why we need it, and what happens to it.
No mystery. No weird stuff.
1. WHAT WE KNOW 👀
When you book a run, browse our website, or hit us up, we may collect:
Your name
Email address
Phone number
Pickup and drop-off locations
Order details
Delivery instructions
Store, restaurant, or seller information
Messages you send us
Transaction and payment-status information
Basic website, device, cookie, and analytics information
Payments may be handled through our payment provider. Smugglr generally doesn't need to directly store your full credit or debit card number.
2. WHY WE NEED IT 🏍️
We can't exactly bring your stuff if we don't know where it's going.
We may use your information to:
Book your run
Find your pickup
Find you
Calculate distance and pricing
Complete your delivery
Send updates about your run
Process payments
Help when something goes sideways
Prevent fraud or misuse
Improve Smugglr
Maintain necessary business records
If we don't reasonably need it to make Smugglr work, we don't need to be collecting it.
3. WHERE YOU AT? 📍
Pickup and drop-off locations are kind of important around here.
We use location information to determine whether we can take the run, calculate distance, provide pricing, navigate, and complete your delivery.
Our website may also receive approximate location information through normal website or analytics technology.
Simply visiting the Smugglr website doesn't mean we need to continuously track your precise location.
4. WHO GETS YOUR INFO? 🤝
Sometimes another service needs certain information to help us complete your run.
That may include:
Website and booking providers
Payment processors
Mapping/navigation services
Restaurants and retailers
Marketplace or other sellers
Email/text providers
Analytics and technology providers
Professional advisers
Government or legal authorities when required by law
We intend to share only information reasonably necessary for those purposes.
5. WE'RE NOT SELLING YOUR BUSINESS 🤫
Smugglr isn't a data broker.
Selling customer personal information isn't part of our ordinary business model.
If that practice ever materially changes, we'll update this policy and obtain any consent required by applicable law.
6. YEAH, COOKIES 🍪
Not those cookies.
Our website and the services connected to it may use digital cookies and similar technology to:
Keep things working
Remember preferences
Understand website traffic
Measure performance
Prevent fraud
Figure out what's working and what isn't
Your browser may let you limit or delete cookies, although some website features might not work properly afterward.
7. WHEN WE HIT YOU UP 📲
If you join our email list, we may send you:
Deals. Drops. New services. Smugglr updates. The occasional thing we think you'll actually care about.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe option included in the message.
We may still contact you when necessary about a booking or delivery you requested.
If we offer marketing texts, we'll handle consent and opt-outs as required by applicable law.
8. KEEPING YOUR STUFF SAFE 🔐
We use reasonable measures designed to protect the personal information we handle.
That said, no website or internet system is completely secure, so please don't put unnecessary sensitive information in your booking notes.
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to complete runs, maintain appropriate business records, prevent fraud, resolve problems, and meet applicable tax, accounting, insurance, or legal requirements.
After that, information may be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise appropriately disposed of.
9. YOUR INFO. YOUR OPTIONS. ✌️
Depending on applicable law, you may be able to ask us to:
Access certain information about you
Correct inaccurate information
Delete certain information
Provide a copy of certain information
Stop sending marketing communications
Texas residents may have additional rights under applicable Texas privacy law.
Some information may still need to be kept where permitted or required for legitimate transaction, business, security, tax, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.
We may also need to verify that it's actually you before handing over or deleting information.
10. IF SOMETHING CHANGES 🔄
Smugglr will probably change over time. This policy might too.
If we update it, we'll post the current version here and change the Last Updated date.
Got a privacy question? Want to make a request about your information?
